Basware, the leading provider of e-invoicing and purchase-to-pay solutions, has today announced the appointment of Henrik Hasselbalch, to the position of Senior Vice President, Professional Services.
Henrik Hasselbalch will join the organization on 1st April 2012 and will report to CEO, Esa Tihilä. He will be a strategic member of the executive management team, responsible for expansion and growth of the professional services customer portfolio.
Hasselbalch joins Basware at a time when the business has just announced Basware Alusta, a cloud-based platform for business-to-business transaction collaboration. Basware Alusta marks the application of Basware´s deep heritage within the e-invoicing, purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash markets to a new era of B2B commerce, and the ways in which businesses want to buy and sell. Henrik Hasselbalch has over 20 years experience within Professional Services, working in key roles with responsibility for Business Development, Sales and Consulting/Education services within major blue chip organizations such PWC, Oracle. He most recently held a ten year tenure at SAP with his latest role as SVP Services EMEA. He holds a BA Sc Economics and Informatics degree.
