Nigeria tribunal upholds '07 presidential election

ABUJA (Reuters) - A Nigerian tribunal upheld the election of President Umaru Yar'Adua on Tuesday, rejecting challenges from his two closest rivals who alleged widespread vote-rigging.

The challengers have the right to appeal to the SupremeCourt and are likely to do so, meaning the legal battle overthe leadership of Africa's most populous nation and top oilproducer could last several more months.
