Accu-Sort Systems, a leader in technological solutions for auto ID
and bar-code data capture, today announced that Andreas Knoll has
joined the company as managing director for its Europe/GmbH
operations. In this role, he will provide leadership to support and
expand Accu-Sort´s customer base throughout Europe.
Mr. Knoll´s appointment is part of the company´s overall strategy
to strengthen European operations. Under the reorganization and
improved integration with Accu-Sort´s U.S. operations, the European
office has boosted product reliability, delivery and service. Over the
last six months, Accu-Sort Europe´s project funnel has increased by 38
percent. Accu-Sort´s European office has grown to 50 employees, and
there are plans to add additional sales, service and program
management talent.
"Our goal is to strengthen our partnership with European customers
by building a robust fulfillment and technology team, assuring
reliability, and being easy to deal with," Mr. Knoll explained. "This
requires attracting the best talent, cultivating customer-centric
behavior, and expecting employees to take ownership of customer
satisfaction."
With more than 18 years of management experience, Mr. Knoll comes
to Accu-Sort from X-Rite GmbH, a manufacturer of color measurement
systems and light laboratory equipment for the automobile industry,
where he served as Managing Director. Under his leadership, X-Rite´s
operations in Europe were restructured, resulting in double-digit
sales growth. Prior to that, he worked for Teradyne GmbH, a
telecommunications test equipment manufacturer, where he served in
management roles with progressive responsibility, culminating as
Director of Sales for Europe.
