With this single integrated multi-energy AMM solution, TRE-FOR
reduces infrastructure costs and significantly increases overall
process efficiency. All energy and customer information is stored onto
one system where it can be accessed for commercial, operational and
customer service purposes, allowing for billing based on actual
consumption. End-users are able to track in real-time their energy
consumption via the ecoMeter, an innovative in-house display.
TRE-FOR is piloting the ecoMeter, an in-house display providing
consumers with real-time information about electricity, heat and water
consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and current tariffs, as part of
its commitment to increase customers´ energy awareness. End-users are
thereby, able to manage their energy usage more efficiently,
benefiting not only the environment, but also saving money.
Knud Steen Larsen, CEO of TRE-FOR, said, "It is very important to
TRE-FOR that our customers get better service and do not have to read
their meters themselves. This state of the art system will provide us
with the opportunity to acquire new products for the electricity
market, including other solutions that will reduce costs."
Stefan Weber, Landis+Gyr´s Executive Vice-President Europe, sees
the contract win as a "further sign of confidence in our technology
and skills, especially regarding demanding turnkey projects."
