Light Blue Optics (LBO), the industry-leading developer of

of its U.S. Operations with an Engineering and Business Development
facility in Colorado Springs, CO. The news follows LBO´s closure of a
$26 million Series A funding round in October 2007 and will further
accelerate the Company´s product development and commercialisation
programme to bring its miniature projection systems to high-volume
markets.

years of experience in working with global partners and managing
large, multi-disciplinary teams of engineers to deliver world-class
electro-optic products into volume production. Dave added, "I am very
excited to be joining LBO to lead the product development activities
of the Group. LBO has exciting and unique technology and we have
quickly managed to recruit a highly experienced development team in
Colorado that I believe can deliver our product roadmap to high-volume
market."

support our customers in North America and execute our fast-paced
product roadmap. The Colorado-based engineering team complements our
U.K. facility in Cambridge, which remains the centre for innovation,
new product concepts and European business development. The
establishment of LBO´s U.S. Operations is a critical step in the
development of the Company and we are now well positioned to deliver
on our vision of becoming the world´s leading supplier of miniature
projection systems."
