Ooyala Founder to Speak at IBC

Ooyala, Inc., the leading online video technology and services company, today announced that the company is speaking and exhibiting at IBC taking place September 8-13, 2011 at RAI Amsterdam. Bismarck Lepe, co-founder and president of products, Ooyala, will be participating in the panel, Do Connected TVs Democratise Content, along with executives from Channel 4, Informa Telecoms & Media, TV Group, easeltv and Innovizr Ltd.

Lepe´s session will discuss the rise of Over-The-Top (OTT) content and services and new distribution and revenue models that will impact content owners and consumers alike. It will also ask how broadcasters should respond to new OTT content and services, explore the potential of new revenue sharing models and examine how understanding consumer preferences and behavior can unlock new profitable online content monetization models.
