Fabasoft is a finalist in the category "Platform as a Service" at the "Best in Cloud 2011" awards hosted by the German specialist IT computing publication "Computerwoche". Folio Cloud, the European Cloud for B2B collaboration won over the expert jury: individually shaped business processes between companies, extensibility through business applications (Cloud Apps), the implementation of compliance requirements and certified security. A particular highlight: the new German identity card as Cloud admission pass for guaranteed personal identity in the Cloud.
With the nomination as finalist Fabasoft already belongs to the top 5 Cloud projects in Germany under the category "Platform as a Service". After winning the Pentadoc ECM award for the best ECM solution of the year 2011 this represents a further prestigious accolade for the Austrian software company´s Cloud offering.
Fabasoft submitted Folio Cloud for the award with a reference project focusing on the Dieffenbacher Group. The German business group with its Head Office in Eppingen employs 1,600 employees across 14 locations worldwide. The Dieffenbacher Group was looking for an immediately available, cost effective and user friendly solution for their collaboration with international business partners.
