CYA Technologies, an enChoice company, today announced that its CYA HOTBackup TM solution has achieved EMC® ISV Backup Recovery Systems Partner Program Certification. CYA HOTBackup enhances interoperability between EMC Documentum® and EMC NetWorker® by automating hot, consistent backups of the Documentum system to NetWorker.
Interoperability of CYA HOTBackup and EMC NetWorker enables users to ensure that repository content and the database are backed up consistently (at the same time), which is critical to assuring that information is not corrupt or inaccessible upon recovery. Most solutions can´t ensure a consistent backup unless Documentum is brought offline. CYA HOTBackup, however, can perform a consistent backup while Documentum remains online, increasing user productivity and enabling companies to achieve high availability. CYA HOTBackup consistently backs up all Documentum components to NetWorker including:
