CompTIA, the non-profit association for the information technology (IT) industry, announced today that entrepreneur and technology industry leader Julie Meyer will deliver the keynote speech at the 2011 CompTIA EMEA Member Conference here on 9 November.
Registration is now open for the annual conference for CompTIA partners and members from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, who come together to connect, collaborate and gain insight into the latest technologies and business trends to help grow their businesses. The conference is set for the Hilton London Metropole.
Meyer is the founder and chief executive officer of Ariadne Capital, a leading UK investment and advisory firm specialising in technology, consumer finance services and digital media. Her planned keynote presentation for the CompTIA conference is titled "Follow the Entrepreneur: How Digital Business Models are Transforming All Industries."

This year´s CompTIA conference will offer three education tracks, each designed for the unique interests of specific association members and partners. Planned conference tracks are geared toward:
- Small Business "´ For small- to medium-sized IT value-added reseller businesses.
- Enterprise "´ For manufacturer, distributor and large solution provider members.
- Certification "´ For CompTIA authorized partners, academies and delivery partners.
This year´s EMEA member conference event is co-located with meetings of the CompTIA EMEA IT Services and Support and CompTIA UK Channel communities. These member-driven groups are the foundation of the association´s initiatives, programs, education and research. Community members include IT professionals, vendors, distributors and thought leaders who work collaboratively on the issues and programs that will shape the future of the IT industry.
Registration for the CompTIA EMEA Member Conference is just £69 for CompTIA members and £109 for non-members.
