The "˜National Memorial Ceremony for 22 July 2011´ will be held in Oslo Spektrum on Sunday 21 August. The ceremony will start at 15.00 precisely and will be hosted by Haddy N´jie.
Only invited guests will be in Oslo Spektrum during the ceremony itself, but the ceremony is for the whole nation and will be broadcasted live by NRK1 and other channels.
The Norwegian royal family will be present, as well as a number of Norwegian government officials and many of those who were directly affected by the attacks on the government offices and Utøya on 22 July this year.
On stage, NRK´s own symphony orchestra, Kringkastingsorkesteret, will set the scene for the ceremony along with a number of artists. The artists taking part include Susanne Sundfør, Leif Ove Andsnes, Karpe Diem, Dumdum Boys, Sivert Høyem, Jarle Bernhoft, Bjørn Eidsvåg, Ingrid Olava and Sissel Kyrkjebø. a-ha will also be reunited for this day only to take part in the national memorial ceremony.
The ceremony will last approximately 90 minutes.

Please be aware that the number of places for the media inside Oslo Spektrum during the ceremony will be strictly limited. There will be extensive security measures surrounding the event.
Only NRK will be allowed to film the event, but the production will be available to all, free of charge. NRK will also take still photographs that may be used free of charge. A press centre will be set up in Oslo Spektrum.
