RSA(R) Conference, the world's leading information security
conference group, today announced the full list of keynotes for its
8th annual RSA Conference Europe. The event, taking place from
22nd-24th October 2007 at ExCeL London, UK, is set to attract
international industry experts, senior executives, security
professionals, developers, architects and vendors - and will deliver
its educational content through keynotes, tutorials, and more than 100
sessions across 10 tracks.
Featuring keynote panels for the first time, the RSA Conference
Europe programme will educate attendees with exciting new sessions:
A keynote panel, Data Security and Breach Notification
Requirements: Pros and Cons on Monday 22nd October, will feature
government and industry experts discussing how government bodies
around the world have either added or are considering new data
security and breach notification requirements aimed at protecting
sensitive information and consumers from the growing global problem of
online fraud. Speakers, including moderator Marika Konings from the
Cyber Security Industry Alliance and panelists Marc Rotenberg from the
Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC); David Smith from the
Information Commissioner's Office in the UK; and Christopher Kuner
from Hunton & Williams will discuss effective ways to make progress --
ranging from increased notification requirements and security
safeguards to a more hands-off approach and industry self-regulation.
The second keynote panel, on the last day of the Conference -
Pandora's Box: Youth and the Internet - will discuss the Internet's
immeasurable impact on the sexual exploitation of children. The panel
of experts, including John Carr from the National Children's Homes;
Metropolitan Police Detective Superintendent, Susan Knight; Ed Gibson,
Chief Security Advisor at Microsoft Corporation; and social networking
site Bebo's Chief Security Officer, Dr. Rachel O'Connell will - with

and preventing these types of abuses and what companies can do to
protect children and families from the ever-increasing amount of
"harmful material" in our multi-media age.

the way we conduct business, communicate, and access and manage
valuable data. As we change the way we do business, security and
privacy challenges continue to evolve. Events such as RSA Conference
Europe 2007 play a critical role in providing the industry with a
platform to come together, share developments and best practices as
well as identify ways to address security and privacy threats for
customers. We are proud to be part of that as a platinum sponsor,"
commented Ben Fathi, Corporate Vice President of Development, Windows
Core Operating System Division at MicroSoft.
"We are very excited about this year's line-up of speakers. We're
