The Latest Wireless Solutions from Wavecom Certified by Bouygues Telecom

Regulatory News:

Wavecom (Paris:AVM) (NASDAQ:WVCM) (ISIN:FR0000073066) today
announced the certification of Wavecom's newest families of Wireless
CPU(R)s on the Bouygues Telecom wireless network thus further opening
the market for wireless machine-to-machine communication in France.

Wireless CPU(R)s are at the heart of many machine-to-machine
applications such as electricity meters, alarm systems, navigation
equipment for cars or even payment terminals; they allow a host of
machines to be connected via a wireless network.

Today's announcement reinforces Bouygues Telecom's commitment to
development of the market for communicating machines in France. This
move toward certification should guarantee optimal functionality of
wireless solutions on the operator network and greatly assist
integrators of M2M solutions prior to bringing wireless products to
market. This certification by Bouygues Telecom further renews their
collaborative efforts to work together with other players in
developing this strong growth market.

"As OEMs realize the potential cost savings associated with
gathering and managing information remotely, from a vast array of
machines, Wavecom and Bouygues Telecom allow the creation of new
business models," declared Franck Moine, head of Machine-to-Machine
activities at Bouygues Telecom, adding, "it's exciting to play a role
in the development of this technological ecosystem which addresses
many new opportunities in various industries in France."

"Wavecom continues to actively work with wireless networks, like
Bouygues Telecom in order to make wireless communication easy to use
for most machines," explains Olivier Beaujard, Group Vice President of
Business Development at Wavecom, he added, "We are pleased to share
our expertise with Bouygues Telecom in the certification process and
provide turnkey services to assist our customers in certifying their
finished products on the network."
