Deflation unlikely for U.S., Fed's Lacker says

FRANKFORT, Kentucky (Reuters) - The U.S. economy is not at risk of deflation despite relatively subdued price growth, Richmond Federal Reserve Bank President Jeffrey Lacker said on Friday.

"I don't see the risk of an outbreak of deflation as very high at all right now," Lacker told reporters after a speech.
