U.S. Democrat Sen. Lincoln to win primary vote - reports

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Senator Blanche Lincoln, a moderate Democrat, was projected to win a primary runoff vote in Arkansas on Tuesday, bucking an anti-incumbent trend before congressional elections in November, news media said.

Lincoln, a key figure in financial regulation legislation, was over 3 percentage points ahead state lieutenant governor Bill Halter with 89 percent of votes counted.
