NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks extended declines on Monday, with the Nasdaq falling 1 percent, as semiconductor and industrial shares led the way down.
* The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> fell 37.63 points, or 0.38 percent, to 9,894.34. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> slipped 5.04 points, or 0.47 percent, to 1,059.84. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> lost 21.91 points, or 0.99 percent, to 2,197.26.
