EBD Group, the leading partnering firm for the Life Science
Industry, and Greater Zurich Area AG, the marketing association of the
Greater Zurich Area business region, are pleased to jointly announce
the upcoming BioDevice Partnering 2007 in Zurich, Switzerland.
BioDevice Partnering will take place in Zurich, Switzerland, June
12-13, 2007. The conference provides an interdisciplinary forum where
international decision makers from the various healthcare industries
can meet to initiate or develop cross-sector partnerships between
their companies.
This second edition of BioDevice Partnering will strengthen the
use of organized partnering in the innovative areas of the medtech
industry, and encourage convergence with biotech/pharma. The event
will also explore links with other exciting technologies such as
tissue regeneration, biomaterials and nanotechnology that are
converging into the medical device space.
BioDevice Partnering 2007 will build on last year's success. The
2006 event saw 330 attendees from 214 companies representing 21
countries take part in what has become the largest international
drug-device combination partnering event.
BioDevice Partnering 2007 is expected to surpass last year's
event, and bring together a large number of medical device,
pharmaceutical corporations and investment companies in the vibrant
and collegial setting of the Greater Zurich Area. This Swiss region in
the heart of Europe is known as a hotbed for medical technologies and
life sciences with a highly skilled workforce and particular strengths
in R&D and finance.
The event will feature presentations by leading-edge companies
from Europe and around the globe, plenary sessions, panel discussions
with industry leaders and informal networking opportunities. BioDevice
Partnering will also utilize a state-of-the-art web-based partnering
system enabling delegates to quickly identify and engage potential
partners.
Entry to BioDevice Partnering 2007 is free to media, giving full
access to all sessions and the ability to request partnering meetings.
Attending journalists will also receive a complimentary delegate pack,
including the complete conference handbook.
