Momentive Performance Materials Inc. ("Momentive" or "the
Company") today reported its consolidated results for the fiscal
three-month period ended April 1, 2007. Highlights include:
-- Net sales of $608.2 million compared to $584.2 million in the
fiscal three-month period ended April 2, 2006.
-- Operating income of $1.3 million versus operating income of
$46.1 million in the fiscal three-month period ended April 2,
2006.
-- Net loss of $64.1 million compared to net income of $13.4
million in the fiscal three-month period ended April 2, 2006.
-- Adjusted EBITDA of $103.4 million compared to Adjusted EBITDA
of $98.9 million in the fiscal three-month period ended April
2, 2006, resulting in an Adjusted EBITDA for the Last Twelve
Month (LTM) period ending April 1, 2007 of $432.3.
"The Company's improved adjusted EBITDA demonstrates that
Momentive is making progress as a standalone company," said Wayne
