The California Tech Showcase 2007 (CTS 2007 -
www.CaliforniaTechShowcase.com) will be held at the Hotel Hermitage in
La Baule, France on June 28th and 29th this year. The conference is
being hosted by EuroStart, a new Silicon Valley-based venture fund.
This high-profile event allows the most exciting U.S.-based
private high-technology and green technology companies to meet CEOs,
CIOs, and CTOs from 200-300 of Europe's largest businesses. The 40
selected companies are guaranteed a minimum of five one-on-one
meetings with CxOs of the European attendees of their choice. CTS 2007
will be the catalyst for immediate revenue ramp-up in Europe.
CTS 2007 will take place in conjunction with the World Investment
Conference (WIC 2007- http://www.LaBauleWIC.org/). WIC 2007 will
feature hundreds of CEOs from firms such as GE, Siemens, Fiat and
Veolia, as well as government officials and ministers. WIC 2007's
theme is green technology.
There will be global press coverage of the two conferences. Press
covering the conferences includes the Wall Street Journal,
International Herald Tribune, CNBC, EuroNews, BBC, BSkyB, CNN, and
others.
CTS 2007 sponsors include EuroStart Capital Partners, Rumeur
Publique, EuroNext Stock Exchange, the State of California, Pierre
Audoin Consultants, and Fenwick & West.
"What sets CTS 2007 apart from other conferences is the one-on-one
meetings driving immediate business opportunities, in addition to the
exposure and networking possibilities," said Jean-Bernard Guerree, a
Managing Director at EuroStart. "Establishing and growing operations
in Europe is not the same as in America, and the connections the
companies will make at CTS 2007 will be critical to their success."
EuroStart is accepting final applications from U.S. technology
companies establishing or expanding their operations in Europe. The
selection committee includes senior executives from Siemens, T-Mobile,
British Telecom, SAP, and ST Microelectronics, among others. The CTS
2007 application can be downloaded from
www.CaliforniaTechShowcase.com. Companies are recommended to submit
their applications immediately.
