today that it understands that AP Investment Europe Limited (an
investment vehicle established by Apollo with the aim of generating
current income and capital appreciation from a portfolio of mezzanine,
debt and equity investments principally issued by companies
established or operating in Europe, and in which AP Alternative Assets
is currently the sole investor) intends to raise further funds for
investment through a private placement of its equity securities. Such
fundraising effort may not occur or be successful.
