Orthofix International N.V. (NASDAQ: OFIX) announced today that
Scott Dodson has been promoted to the position of President of the
Orthopedics Global Business Unit (GBU). Mr. Dodson joined Orthofix in
2006 as the Global Vice President of Marketing for Orthopedics.
Previously Mr. Dodson was Vice President of Marketing at the Endoscopy
division of Boston Scientific.
"During the past year with Orthofix, Scott has been a significant
contributor to the improvement of our orthopedic business," said

ideal person to lead the development of our global orthopedics
business and execute our long term growth strategy in this important

Additionally, Orthofix announced that Andrew Miclot has joined the
company as Vice President of Marketing for the Orthopedics GBU. Mr.
Miclot was previously a Senior Vice President at Symmetry Medical,
Inc., where he was responsible for sales, marketing and business
development for two divisions with 13 global locations and almost
2,000 employees. While at Symmetry Medical, Mr. Miclot directed a
number of strategic corporate initiatives, including several global
acquisitions. He also led efforts to build sales infrastructure,
worldwide distribution and customer service networks, and marketing
and R&D functions. Prior to that, Mr. Miclot was the Director of the
Medical Products Group at DePuy, an international division of Johnson
and Johnson.
