Supporting the defense and intelligence community with solutions
that expand existing data management performance boundaries,
Objectivity, Inc. today announces it is the official event sponsor of
the Marcus Evans 2nd Annual Sensor Fusion Europe Conference. The
Conference will focus on advancing sensor fusion concepts to realize
complete battlefield awareness through the integration of multi-INT
sources of information to achieve total data fusion. Attendees will
examine solutions to bandwidth challenges in a net-centric
environment, discuss the advancing state-of-the-art Sensor Fusion
automation and review improvements in visualization to create a common
operating picture. The Sensor Fusion Conference is scheduled for
January 29-31, 2007 at the Marriott Brussels Hotel in Brussels,
Belgium. Registration and additional information about this conference
is available at www.marcusevans.com.
"We are delighted to have Objectivity, Inc. as our conference
sponsor; we believe their data fusion experience will resonate with
the attendees of the Sensor Fusion Europe event," said Michael
Griffith, producer of the Global Defense Sector at Marcus Evans.
Focus on Data Fusion Perspectives of Tim Kline
The focal point of this conference will be on overcoming the
challenges presented by the collection, aggregation and dissemination
of Multi-INT data. The conference features the industry's foremost
experts, including Mr. Tim Kline, former Director of Technology and
Engineering for Canada's Communications Security Establishment (CSE),
who will outline how they conquered their data management challenges
by building the Objectivity/DB driven Andromeda framework to
facilitate the development of data fusion applications. Mr. Kline has
over 24 years of private and public sector experience in the computer
and communications sectors, with 18 years of experience working in
National Intelligence and Information Technology Security (ITS).
With a strong emphasis on technical subjects, designed to address
key operational challenges, the second annual Sensor Fusion Europe
Conference enables attendees to explore the current issues and
challenges related to maximizing the potential of sensor, computer and
communications technology to ensure that coalition warfighters have
the information they need to better locate, track and eliminate their
enemies while avoiding surprise attacks, now and in the future.
The conference provides a forum for attendees from the defense and
intelligence communities in Europe participating in net centric
warfare programs such as complex C4ISTAR (command, control,
communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, target
acquisition and reconnaissance) systems to learn how to address their
unrelenting need to manage massive amounts of data culled from
multiple sources (data fusion).
"At the Sensor Fusion Europe Conference, Objectivity will discuss
current issues and emerging sensor systems used in Defence Department,
Government Security and Intelligence and Homeland Security
applications," states Jay Jarrell, president and CEO of Objectivity,
Inc. "We are pleased to have Mr. Tim Kline presenting how Canada's CSE
used the Objectivity/DB platform to solve their data management
challenges. We are certain that the experience Objectivity has with
the challenges associated with the data fusion problem will enable the
attendees of this conference to develop successful campaign missions."
Objectivity/DB(R) Data Fusion Repository Platform
There is a groundswell in today's defense and intelligence
operations for advance systems and software that address the growing
need for enhanced real-time situational awareness in C4ISTAR and
similar applications. The power of Objectivity's flagship data fusion
repository platform, Objectivity/DB, provides software innovators
working on electronic warfare, weapons guidance, and similar
environments with the unprecedented ability to create applications
that collect, fuse and process Multi-INT data. This data can be
quickly correlated and distributed to provide the most precise
monitoring and data isolation attributes for users depending on
optimized visualization and alerts of impending activity in critical
real-time environments.
During the conference, Objectivity will have an exhibit where they
discuss the powerful abilities of the Objectivity/DB platform. This
platform allows innovators working on software applications for
electronic warfare, weapons guidance, wireless communications and
command and control purposes to create applications that collect, fuse
and process Multi-INT data. Objectivity/DB helps correlate the data in
order to provide the most precise monitoring and data isolation
attributes. This provides users with optimized visualization and
alerts of impending activity in critical real-time environments,
creating foreknowledge that can be transferred to multiple actors for
a coordinated response. The Objectivity exhibit will be located in the
foyer outside the Sensor Fusion Conference room. The exhibit will be
available to attendees as follows:
-- Monday, January 29 - 1:00pm - 4:00pm
-- Tuesday, January 30 - 8:00am - 5:00pm
-- Wednesday, January 31 - 8:00am - 4:00pm
