Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP today announced that Mario Schmidt
has agreed to join the firm in its Frankfurt office. Mario Schmidt,
presently a partner at Clifford Chance, is recognized as a leading
Private Equity expert in Europe. He joins Jochen Winter in Frankfurt,
and will help form the core of a formidable transactional team. Mr.
Winter, who joined Willkie from Linklaters last year, commented, "The
