Yahoo! Reinvents Internet Search for the Mobile Phone

Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO) today launched Yahoo! oneSearch, an
entirely new search service designed to give consumers exactly what
they want on their mobile device -- instant answers. oneSearch
leverages Yahoo!'s deep experience, investment and expertise in search
on the desktop as well as relationships with leading content providers
to deliver an unmatched mobile search experience for consumers. With
this launch Yahoo! expands its mobile Internet leadership.

Yahoo! oneSearch is available to consumers beginning today through
the Yahoo! Go for Mobile 2.0 beta. By the end of January 2007, Yahoo!
plans to make oneSearch available across the company's Mobile Web and
SMS services. Yahoo! oneSearch will roll out in additional country and
language versions in the coming months.

"Yahoo! oneSearch changes the mobile search game by fundamentally
improving the way consumers' access and use the Internet on their
mobile phones," said Marco Boerries, senior vice president of
connected life, Yahoo!. "It delivers a mobile-optimized search
experience that understands what consumers are looking for and
presents answers directly in the results -- not just a list of Web
links to PC sites. Yahoo! oneSearch delivers the right results with
just one search."

For example, if a consumer wants to see the results of a specific
sporting event he just needs to type the name of the team into the
search box. The search results would first list the final score of the
most recent game and information on the next scheduled game, then
additional content including, a team profile and roster, official Web
site, sports photos, related news articles, web images, local results
and more. To dig more deeply into the results, a consumer would simply
need to click on any item or category. For example, to get the box
score of the most recent game he can just click on the final score.

Yahoo! oneSearch also includes features designed to make searching
as easy as possible for consumers, including remembering previous
queries and auto-fill to speed up the entry of common terms. In
addition, the service allows for easy navigation to other websites.
Consumers can simply enter the name of any company and the link to its
site will appear at the top of the search results.

Yahoo! Go for Mobile 2.0

Consumers can download the Yahoo! Go 2.0 beta

network. Yahoo! Go 2.0 is an innovative new application that redefines
the mobile Internet experience for consumers through a unique product
design, ability to personalize with content from the entire Internet
and a reinvention of mobile search. (See release titled "Yahoo!
