Wavecom (Paris:AVM) (NASDAQ:WVCM) (ISIN:FR0000073066) announced
today that Open AT(R) Software Suite IDE (Integrated Development
Environment) tools are now designed to be Eclipse(TM) Ready, using
tools from the popular open-source development community.
Future application developments can be done with Wavecom's Open
AT(R) SDK (Software Development Kit) taking advantage of the
Eclipse(TM) community. This access to the Eclipse(TM) community will
be available to developers free of charge, without license fees, NRE
(Non Recurring Engineering) costs or any additional fees for developer

debug more easily using Eclipse(TM) project for "C/C++ .Development
Tool (CDT)".
Eclipse(TM) projects also provide tools to support the developers
through the entire application lifecycle -- from design and
development to testing and debugging all the way to product launch.
"This is truly a break-through that significantly reduces
development time-to-market, stated Jamie Garroch, Wavecom Product
Marketing Director. He added, "The inclusion of Wavecom's Open AT(R)
SDK in the Eclipse(TM) environment makes overall system development
cheaper and easier by allowing customers to reuse open-source parts as
well as seamlessly developing their own tools based on Eclipse(TM) to
test and debug their applications running on Wavecom's Wireless
CPU(R)s,"
The new SDK on Eclipse(TM), is now available for download by
registered customers from Wavecom.
