PRAGUE (Reuters) - The United States is ready to take a leading role in tackling climate change, President Barack Obama said on Sunday in a speech in Prague before talks with European Union officials.
"In this global effort, the United States is now ready to lead," he said of the fight against climate change and ending dependence on fossil fuels, an area where the 27-nation EU is wants to secure ambitious commitments at U.N. talks later this year.
