Marlink Continues to Extend Global Reach to Customers

Marlink, a global leader in maritime communications via satellite,
announced today several major end-of-year regional expansions to
increase business presence in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the
Pacific Rim.

Today, Marlink officially announced that it is establishing a new
business entity in Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Marlink FZ LLC.

The new business will be located in Dubai's Internet City and the
company has plans to expand operations and increase technical and
sales support in order to serve its growing roster of shipping
companies and maritime customers operating throughout the region.
Marlink is now strategically positioned to rapidly attend to the
communications requirements of its maritime customers operating in the
Middle East, reducing equipment installation and configuration
downtime and ensuring shipboard satellite communications are ready to
go when the vessel is scheduled to embark.

"This move is extremely important for both Marlink and our
customers in the region as we will be adding increased technical
expertise in the Dubai office to compliment our equipment sales and
support and our long-standing traffic accounting authority services,"
said Soren Einshoj, chief executive officer of the Marlink Group. "We
are making these moves to build out our Marlink office in Dubai in
order to better serve the growing maritime industry in the region with
complete 'one-stop-shop' support for their satellite communications
requirements."

Continuing with the company's globalization strategy through
expanded regional presence, Marlink has increased customer service and
technical support capabilities at its Singapore office. In addition to
increasing equipment installation and technical support with the
selection of Norsk Marine Electronics of Singapore as a service
partner, Marlink has moved support closer to maritime customers by
adding local technicians and equipment warehousing in Singapore
adjacent to one of the world's largest container harbors. (See Marlink

increased our logistical support base and technical support
capabilities to be more flexible and responsive to the communications
needs of the maritime industry," Einshoj explained.
