Seven killed in Pakistani suicide attack

MINGORA, Pakistan (Reuters) - Seven people were killed on Monday in a suicide attack aimed at a military checkpost in northwest Pakistan's Swat Valley, military officials said.

"The attacker prematurely blew himself before he reached the checkpost. Only one soldier was wounded but seven civilians travelling in two cars passing by were killed," said one of the military officials, who declined to be identified.
