Bomb in centre of Thai capital kills five, wounds 20

BANGKOK (Reuters) - A bomb exploded in the centre of the Thai capital on Monday, police said, and media reported five people were killed and 20 wounded.

The blast, near a shrine at a major Bangkok intersection, was caused by a bomb, police chief Prawut Thawornsiri said.
