BILBAO (Reuters) - Basque separatists ETA exploded a bomb in roadworks on the A-8 highway in Spain's Basque country, causing no injuries but damaging several construction vehicles and cabins, the Basque regional government said on Monday.
The bomb exploded among property belonging to a Basqueconstruction firm near the town of Orio, the government said.
"The explosion caused significant damage to six work cabinsand hit four vehicles," a government spokesman said.
It was not clear whether the explosion occurred on Mondaymorning or over the weekend, as there were no workers on siteat the time of the blast, the spokesman said.
The attack follows the arrest last week of members of ETA'smost active cell, blamed for killing a civil guard and severalattacks on police stations since the Basque guerrillas calledoff a unilateral ceasefire last June.
