NEW YORK (Reuters) - Three men were charged on Wednesday with conspiring to support Islamic State, U.S. authorities announced.
Abdurasul Hasanovich Juraboev, 24, of Uzbekistan and Akhror Saidakhmetov, 19, of Kazakhstan were accused of planning to travel to Syria to fight for Islamic State, also known as ISIS, Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch said.
Abror Habibov, 30, also of Uzbekistan, was accused of operating a domestic support network to help fund Saidakhmetov's efforts to join ISIS, prosecutors said.
