TOKYO (Reuters) - A strong earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 7 struck northern Japan on Saturday, NHK television reported.
There were no immediate reports of casualties and notsunami warning was issued but NHK said Japan's high-speedbullet trains in the area had stopped running.
