ADDIS ABABA (Reuters) - South Sudan president Salva Kiir arrived on Friday in Ethiopia's capital for the first face-to-face talks with rebel leader Riek Machar since the conflict erupted in mid December, officials in his delegation at the talks said.
Machar arrived in Addis Ababa on Thursday. Kiir sacked Machar as deputy president in July, reigniting their long-running political feud that sparked fighting in mid-December that has killed thousands of people.
