(Reuters) - The death toll in a massive Washington state mudslide that left up to 108 people missing at the weekend has risen to 14 people as six more bodies were found amid the debris, the Snohomish County sheriff said in a Twitter message on Monday.
Emergency management officials have expressed doubt that anyone else would be plucked alive from the muck that engulfed dozens of homes when a rain-soaked hillside along State Route 530 near Oso, Washington, gave way on Saturday morning.
