HARARE (Reuters) - Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe will not attend a regional summit on Saturday to discuss the country's election stalemate, state radio reported.
Earlier this week officials had said Mugabe was expected toattend the Lusaka summit on Saturday of the 14-nation SouthernAfrican Development Community.
But Deputy Information Minister Bright Matonga said thesummit was called without consulting Zimbabwe. SADC leaders areexpected to put pressure on Mugabe to release long-delayedelection results
