SANTIAGO (Reuters) - A 7.0 magnitude quake that hit south-central Chile on Friday will not trigger a tsunami, and there are no reports of any damage or injuries, state emergency office ONEMI said.
The temblor rattled south central Chile, shaking a zone hit by a devastating quake a year ago and making buildings in the capital Santiago shudder, Reuters witnesses said.
Residents fled into the street in some parts of south-central Chile.
