BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki will announce some of Iraq's new cabinet ministers on Monday, a government spokesman said after other officials announced that the unveiling of a government in parliament would be delayed.
"Today in the afternoon, the prime minister will announce half the new government," spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said.
A media spokesman for the parliament speaker and other officials had earlier said Maliki's announcement of his new cabinet had been postponed until later in the week because of lingering disputes over the posts.
