Blast in Pakistan kills U.S. soldiers, children

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Three of the foreigners killed in a bombing near a school in northwest Pakistan on Wednesday were U.S. soldiers assigned to train paramilitary forces, Pakistan's army spokesman said.

"They were trainers. They were attached to the Frontier Corps. The dead include three U.S. trainers, one Pakistani paramilitary soldier and three children," military spokesman Major General Athar Abbas told Reuters.
