NEW YORK (Reuters) - Six major powers are now considering possible further U.N. sanctions against Iran over its nuclear program, a senior European Union official said on Saturday after a meeting of diplomats from the six.
"We will continue to seek a negotiated solution, but consideration of appropriate further measures has also begun," Robert Cooper said after the meeting of diplomats from the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China.
