BLANTYRE (Reuters) - A magnitude 6.0 quake struck northern Malawi early on Sunday, close to the Tanzanian border, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
The quake struck at 0119 a.m. local time (11:19 p.m. British time).
The quake, 9.4 miles (15.2 km) deep, followed a series of quakes in the same area, the uranium-rich Karonga district, earlier this month.
