Wall Street falls further on energy and GE



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks fell further on Thursday as the energy sector was knocked lower by weak oil prices and shares of GE dropped after S&P said there was a one-in-three chance the company could lose its AAA credit rating within the next two years.

    * GE's shares were down 7.4 percent at a two-week low after the S&P action. The company's long-standing AAA rating was affirmed.

    * The Dow Jones industrial average was down 167.10 points, or 1.89 percent, at 8,657.24. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index fell 12.07 points, or 1.33 percent, to 892.35. The Nasdaq Composite Index lost 18.31 points, or 1.16 percent, to 1,561.00.
