Pemex confirms platform incident, output impact unclear


    MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexican state oil giant Pemex said on Monday confirmed an incident on a shallow water platform in the southern Gulf of Mexico, but said its impact on production was unclear.

    Pemex said the incident, which was caused by an oil and gas leak, occurred on an uninhabited platform that was operated automatically. It said there were no reports of any injuries, adding three workers were evacuated.
