Spill in Corpus Christi ship channel contained, Flint Hills Resources says


    (Reuters) - Flint Hills Resources [FHR.UL], a subsidiary of Koch Industries [KCHIN.UL], said a leak of a light diesel-like material on Thursday into the ship channel at its West Refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas, had been contained.

    "The product has been contained to an area near the dock while crews work to get it cleaned up," a company spokesman said in an email. It gave no further details.

    The Refinery Terminal Fire Company was responding to the spill early Thursday, news website Kristv.com had reported earlier.
