Nasdaq briefly dips below 1 percent on Dell


    NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Nasdaq briefly fell below 1 percent on Wednesday, pressured by a decline in Dell shares a day after the computer maker's quarterly revenues came in below estimates and it forecast flat current-quarter sales.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was down 25.01 points, or 0.22 percent, at 11,380.92. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 0.87 points, or 0.07 percent, at 1,191.89. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 19.76 points, or 0.78 percent, at 2,503.69.
