Nasdaq turns up, Dow and S&P 500 trim losses



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Dow and S&P 500 pared losses while the Nasdaq turned positive on Friday, with shares of BlackBerry maker Research In Motion gaining following positive brokerage comments.

    Research in Motion shares rose 2.6 percent at $70.95.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was down 47.92 points, or 0.47 percent, at 10,096.27. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 3.30 points, or 0.31 percent, at 1,075.17. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 1.36 points, or 0.06 percent, at 2,178.77.
