Wall St turns negative, weighed by tech


    NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks turned negative on Monday, weighed by technology shares, giving up initial gains at the open on earnings optimism.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was up 4.61 points, or 0.05 percent, at 10,000.52. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 0.53 points, or 0.05 percent, at 1,087.15. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 3.31 points, or 0.15 percent, at 2,153.49.
