Bankia is ready to grant more loans

After Bankia's intense restructuring, the entity knows that it is time to expand again. To do so, it will ask EU authorities to relax lending limitations that were placed on the bank when it was cleaning up balance sheets. Bankia has completed 99% of the conditions of its 2012-2015 strategic plan.

Bankia is in a position to grant more loans, and the EU and ECB, who know the bank's health perfectly well since they just performed stress tests, should listen to Bankia's proposal. The economic recovery in Spain would speed along if Bankia can operate at full bore.
