Judge finds signs of criminal evidence in Blesa case

The ongoing legal case against Miguel Blesa, former CEO of Caja Madrid, has twisted and turned but staid on course to an end. After Judge Elpidio Silva was asked to step down, Judge Juan Antonio Toro has taken the case and vowed to investigate it to the core.

In his judicial decree, Toro said he sees "possible signs" of Blesa committing a crime when he purchased City Bank of Florida. The knot is starting to untangle at this point despite pressures from the Minister of Justice to stop trying to blame Caja Madrid's failure on somebody. Knowing what really happened is the payout that disgruntled shareholders want. And perhaps they should get what they expect after putting up significant funds to bail out the bank.
