Artur Mas bails out Panrico, the company where his brother works
The Catalonian government announced yesterday that it will activate necessary bailout tools to help Panrico. A bailout of the Catalan food titan was coordinated previously by advisor Felip Puig who said that Panrico will not get any funding, but instead will be able to adjust terms with its creditors.
Still, an official communication says otherwise. Many Catalonian companies, both small and large, went through very tough times but did not receive such clear and direct help from the government.
Curiously, Artur Mas's brother is a managing director at Panrico. Did the Catalonian government act unfairly to save Joan Mas's job?
