Wall Street open weighed down by earnings



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks fell at the open on Wednesday as disappointing earnings from companies including Pfizer Inc offset a report showing fewer-than-expected U.S. private sector job losses in January.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was down 5.29 points, or 0.05 percent, at 10,291.56. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index fell 2.10 points, or 0.19 percent, at 1,101.22. The Nasdaq Composite Index dipped 0.56 points, or 0.03 percent, at 2,189.50.
