Wall St opens lower after GE, Google results



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks edged lower at the open on Friday after GE and Google results fell short of expectations and as investors looked for a resolution in the latest round of Greek debt talks.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was up 8.17 points, or 0.06 percent, at 12,632.15. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 3.09 points, or 0.24 percent, at 1,311.41. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 8.19 points, or 0.29 percent, at 2,780.14.
